Welcoming Hannah Riches to Ella Rose Financial

At Ella Rose Financial, growth has never been about scale for the sake of it. It has always been about doing more of the right work, in the right way, for the right clients.

That is why I am genuinely delighted to welcome Hannah Riches to the firm as a Trainee Financial Planner.

This is an exciting step for ERF, not just because we are growing, but because we are doing so in a way that stays completely aligned with our values and the experience we want to deliver to every client.

A natural fit for ERF

From the outset, it was clear that Hannah’s values closely align with everything ERF stands for.

We are a firm built on relationships, not transactions. We take the time to understand our clients properly, build long-term partnerships, and create financial plans that are entirely bespoke to each individual and their family.

Hannah shares that same belief, that financial planning should feel personal, thoughtful and genuinely supportive, not process driven or transactional.

She brings a natural curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a real desire to help people navigate important financial decisions with clarity and confidence. These are qualities that cannot be taught, but are essential to how we work with our clients.

Strengthening our ability to support clients

As ERF continues to grow, so does the demand for the kind of personalised, high-quality advice we pride ourselves on delivering.

Bringing Hannah into the business allows us to continue offering that level of service, without compromising on what makes ERF different.

It means more time spent with clients, more depth in our planning work, and greater capacity to support individuals, families and business owners through increasingly complex financial decisions.

Importantly, it allows us to scale in a way that protects the client experience, ensuring every client still feels known, understood and looked after.

A fresh perspective and progressive mindset

One of the things I am most passionate about is helping to move the financial planning profession forward.

ERF was built to challenge the traditional model, from our fixed fee structure to our transparent, independent approach, and our focus on long-term relationships over product-driven advice.

Hannah represents the next generation of financial planners. She brings a fresh perspective, a modern mindset, and a willingness to approach things differently.

That combination of new thinking alongside strong technical development is exactly what the profession needs.

Supporting a career changer

Hannah is also joining ERF as a career changer, which is something I feel strongly about supporting.

The financial services industry has historically followed a fairly narrow path into the profession. At ERF, we believe that bringing in individuals from different backgrounds leads to better thinking, better conversations, and ultimately better outcomes for clients.

By supporting Hannah through this transition, we are not only investing in her future, but also playing a small part in shaping a more diverse, accessible and progressive industry.

Looking ahead

This is just the beginning of the next phase for Ella Rose Financial.

Our focus remains exactly the same - delivering thoughtful, bespoke financial planning in a way that feels human, transparent and genuinely valuable.

With Hannah now part of the journey, we are even better placed to continue building a firm that reflects those principles and supports more clients in the way they deserve.

I am incredibly excited about what lies ahead.
